The Smart City Challenge Stage 2: Smart City Proposal Kalyan-Dombivli

Safe transport with availability of mass movement and a good environment are the key priority issues identified by the citizens and reflected in the proposal.  The city aims to enhance pedestrian pathways especially around railways, provide ample public transport. The city further aims to transform its waterfronts in Dombilvili West, Kalyan west, Titwala and Ambivli for promotion of tourism.  Safe and scientific management of waste and promotion of solar are goals for betternment of environment.
