The proposal aims to rejenuvate this inherent heritage and knowledge potential to make the economy more vibrant, competitive and sustainable for the future. Therefore tourism development, promotion of knowledge driven initiatives and services like hospitality, transportation, trade and commerce receive focus. Further the city endeavours to provide quality living to its citizens by increasing coverage of basic services like water supply and sewerage.
