State Forward - Best Practices from Our States

The compilation of this compendium reflects a bottoms-up approach, where States’ representatives were contacted to identify best practices of the model project examples within the States. Each contact person responsible for the implementation of the project has been identified in the NITI Aayog is closely monitoring the adoption and implementation of projects across the States. The intention of promoting cross-learning across sectors and divisions will strengthen cooperative federalism and augment decentralization. In sum total, this will contribute in evolving a shared vision of national development priorities with the active involvement of States, in light of national objectives.
