This Model RFP has been prepared to assist cities in preparing RFPs for enabling Credit Ratings for cities so as to facilitate leveraging by ULBs from multiple sources including the capital markets, the commercial term loan market and private sector through creation of National Municipal Credit database, which may be used by lenders and investors in municipal debt and in municipal PPP projects.
