Status of children in urban India This document has been created by National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) under the Child– friendly Smart Cities (CFSC) initiative with the aim of providing an information base about children in India in the urban context. This research study serves as a first measure of the status of children and brings together elements of quantitative and qualitative inquiry to the understanding of children’s status in urban India.
