GWPIn 2014, GWP and UNICEF developed a Strategic Framework for WASH Climate Resilient Development. The Framework sets out the rationale and concepts for WASH climate resilient development and highlights actions that can be taken now. The target audience includes government planners, decision-makers and practitioners at national, sub-national and local levels responsible for WASH services provision, and development cooperation agencies that can play the role of ‘champions’ in the process of enhancing climate resilience. The Framework is particularly relevant to those delivering WASH services to rural communities in areas vulnerable to climate hazards and variability.
