The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, through the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) is conducting the third round of Ease of Living Index and Municipal Performance Index for a total of 250 cities. The Ease of Living Index, 2021 aims to assess the Ease of Living of citizens across three pillars: Quality of Life, Economic Ability and Sustainability and The Municipal Performance Index, 2021 aims to examine the sectoral performance of municipalities across a set of 5 verticals namely Service, Finance, Planning, Technology and Governance. It is in this context that NIUA has floated an RFP for the "appointment of agency for undertaking data collection and assessment of 250 cities for EoL and MPI"
