Namchi Smart City Limited (NSCL) has been incorporated as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) under the Companies Act, 2013 to implement the Smart City Proposal of Namchi Municipal Council. As part of its plan, NSCL intends Design, Develop and Implementation an Integrated Water Supply and Distribution System in entire Namchi Municipal Council, South-Sikkim. The overall objective of the Project is to establish an efficient and effective Water Supply Distribution System throughout the Namchi City with the strategy of water conservation, re-use, reduction of nrw and adoption of advanced rain water harvesting technology.
