Expression of Interest for Developing a Solar Power Project of 2000 kWp as floating solar PV system over Mudasarlova reservoir in Visakhapatnan

The Greater Visakhapatnam Smart City Corporation Limited (GVSCCL) wishes to develop a solar power project of 2000 kWp as floating solar PV system over Mudasarlova reservoir in Visakhapatnam. In order assess the maturity of technology, costs and benefits. Large scale capacity addition of floating solar PV systems shall be considered later, based on the outcome of the project. The project is expected to be Conserving valuable land for land-intensive activities and be environment friendly. GVSCCL is in the process of selecting suitable technologies for implementing this floating Solar Power projects.

In this regard, GVSCCL invites Expression of Interest from companies/firms having experience in the field of installing floating solar power plants or having technology for installing large scale floating platforms.
