The Smart City Challenge Stage 2: Smart City Proposal Kohima

Kohima aims to leverage its geo strategic location to foster sustainable and resilient community led development, act as a regional hub for tourism and transit while preserving its natural and cultural assets. The city would prepare its regulatory framework for urban development such as building byelaws, fire safety norms etc. The city would also invest in disaster preparedness by building on the existing information, procuring rescue equipments and integrating citizen dissemination initiatives.
