OM: Empanelment of Consulting Firms for Providing Technical Assistance in Assessment of Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and developing strategy and implementation plans for reduction of NRW.

Water Audit (including non-revenue water or losses audit) is a key Reform, to improve service delivery of water supply in the city. In order to assist in implementation of the reform, the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) empanels agencies and the States / Cities have to select agencies for implementation. Accordingly, the Ministry of Urban Development has empanelled twelve consulting firms to provide technical assistance to assess Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and develop strategies and implementation plans for reduction of NRW. A model Request for Proposal (RfP) to procure an agency from the empanelled list has also been prepared. The RfP is based on the QCBS method as per the World Bank guidelines. The RfP may be customised as per the requirements of the State/City.
