Inviting articles for SHELTER

It is an official publication of HUDCO/HSMI and assimilates ideas and practices on the themes related to housing, urban development and human settlement management. Shelter is an ISSN registered publication and brings two special issues every year. The first special issue is published in the month of April and second issue comes in the month of October every year.

The next issue of SHELTER will be published in April 2018. The theme for the next issue is "Cities 2030: Cities for All". This  would include the following sub themes that were discussed in the World Urban Forum 9:

3. Humanitarian concerns
4. Land
5. Local Economic Development
6.  Migration
7. Mobility
8. Municipal Finance
9.  National Urban Policy
10. Public Space
11. Risk Reduction and Resilience
12. Slum Upgrading
13. Urban Basic Services
14. Urban Design
15. Urban Legislation
16. Urban Safety
17. Women
18. Youth

We invite articles, research papers, case studies and news items pertaining to the theme. The articles should be as per the enclosed guidelines and all the photographs, charts, sketches and graphs should be submitted separately, in original or in high resolution soft copies.

We encourage you to include innovations in your paper, which are relevant and worth emulating. Source of material used in your article should be mentioned appropriately.

You are requested to refer to the “Guidelines for authors” for submission of manuscripts. The deadline for receiving the article is March 16. We invite articles on any of the above sub themes
