Improvement in Property Tax - RFPThe Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) now invites proposals to provide consulting services for: “Municipal Tax and Fee Improvement- Improvement in Property Tax Collections”.
The objective of this assignment is to improve the revenue of the PMCs from Property Tax by
a) identifying under-assessed and un-assessed properties so as to increase coverage to upto 100%
b) computerisation of Property Tax records and Tax management system, display Demand Collection Book on the Web, putting in place an on-line system for assessment and collection of Property Tax, and10
c) Recommend improvements in existing administrative system to achieve upto 100% in Property Tax collection along with a grievances redressal system.
d) Study report on shifting from existing ready recknor based assessment to capital value based assessment
