A knowledge sharing workshop for the selected Smart Cities was organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on the 30th October 2017 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Representatives from the Smart Cities of Bhubaneswar, Pune, Bhopal and Surat shared their experiences based on implementation of some of the projects under the Smart Cities Mission.
35 cities with total of 60 participants had the opportunity to interact with Dr. Sameer Sharma, Mission Director and Sajeesh Kumar N., Director (SC-II), Smart Cities Division in addition to the various PMUs from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in the day long event.
