Two-day workshop on “DESIGN INTERVENTIONS FOR SMART CITIES” from February 20th & 21st, 2017, at NID Ahmedabad, Gujarat

National Institute of Design (NID), an internationally acclaimed multi-disciplinary design institute is pleased to announce a two-day workshop on “Design Interventions for Smart Cities”. It will be conducted at NID Ahmedabad, Gujarat during February 20th & 21st, 2017, (2-day non-residential programme).

The Industry & Online Programme (I&OP) of NID integrates design knowledge and education with the varied segments of industry, commerce, and service sectors. The objective of this workshop is to acquaint wide range of stakeholders dealing with urban policies, management, planning, design, security, environment, technology and more with the challenges of the proposed smart cities on the one hand and the way to find their solutions through the creative and innovative interventions of design. It will be meaningful for the students and researchers in related areas too.
