Tender for Design, Development and Maintenance of Website Application and Content Management System with Bilingual support (Marathi & English) for Solapur Municipal Corporation

Solapur Municipal Corporation (SMC) is intending to develop and implement bilingual (Marathi & English) website application and content management system through Solapur City Development Corporation (SCDCL). The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek the services of a reputed IT firm/ agency, to design to the satisfaction of SMC and SCDCL, develop, test, implement, operate and maintain the SMC website for 3 Years, commencing from the date when the system goes “live” or when the acceptance is accorded as per the Acceptance Criteria, whichever is later.

The existing website of SMC www.solapurcorporation.org and the corresponding MIS system and processes associated with this website need to be integrated in the new portal. Also, the portal shall have a compatibility to integrated development of a Mobile application for city services in future.

The objective of the Portal is to ensure the following:

1. Providing easy, anywhere and anytime access to Government Services
2. Information dissemination as provided under in under RTI
3. Providing the contact detail of the Department.
4. Providing the status of various projects undertaken by SMC and SCDCL.
5. To have a platform of interaction between both SMC and SCDCL and the public atlarge.
6. Ensure two way communication process for citizen consultation.
