The Chandigarh Smart City Limited is planning to introduce Public Bicycle Sharing system for the city Chandigarh having a population 10.54 Lakhs (as per census 2011) and an area of 114 sq km.The system should includes bicycle parking, design guidelines, and a proposal for a city-wide Bicycle Share System with approximate 10000 bicycles and 600 stations. The Bicycle Sharing System should cover the entire city to ensure and promote use of bicycle as a practical and easy to use alternative transport system. CSCL invites Expressions of Interest from companies for the setting -up and operation of the Bicycle Sharing System. Only those companies that participate in the EOI process and are shortlisted based on the pre-qualification criteria will be invited to bid in the second stage.
