Request for Proposal Preparation of DPR for Providing Tourist Infrastructure and Amenities in ABD Area of Vellore Under Smart City Mission

Vellore Smart City Proposal invites proposals to provide the following consulting services (hereinafter called “Services”): for Preparation of DPR for providing Tourist Infrastructure and Amenities in ABD Area of Vellore under Smart City Mission

• Preparation of Detail Project Report after examination of the suitability on infrastructure and amenities to facilitate the tourist and pilgrims considering the technical, financial, legal, regulatory, social and environmental aspects.
• Identification of heritage nodes in the city and preparation of Heritage trails map for Vellore City.
• Tourist transport facilities to visit religious & heritage locations in the city.
• New infrastructure facilities required such as parks, lawns, landscaping, Heritage Interpretation centre (including audio- visual presentation), Literature Centre, food court, Kiosks, Open Air Theatre, Illumination of area and Fencing & Security
• Information centres, art galleries explaining Vellore heritage and other tourism important places.
• Suggestion for route map including suggestion of vehicular traffic, defined entry and exit points (one way movement), Pedestrian walks and development of a “Heritage Walk/Corridor” connecting suitable locations/points/structures of tourism importance and/or historical and religious interest within permissible limits of Local Authority & as per ASI guidelines
• Moat desilting, Floodlight Systems for Vellore Fort, Boating in fort moat, City Aesthetics - 3D wall paintings as per ASI guidelines
• Upgradation requirements/ beautification of the adjoining areas as per requirements/opinions of pertinent stakeholders (local residents, NGOs, Corporates, officials, offices like ASI etc.)
