The Vellore Smart City now invites proposals to provide the following consulting services : for Preparation of Feasibility Report for Installation of WQM System in Vellore Smart City.Water quality implies physical, chemical characteristic that ensure, support and sustain the biological system in order to attain the wholesomeness of the water. Water quality monitoring therefore consists of periodic and systematic observations to enable its assessment covering physical, chemical and biological parameters. 

Water Quality Monitoring System (WQMS) is therefore, a programme consisting of three key components: 
 Where to observe (Sampling stations)
 How frequent to observe (Frequency of samplings)
 What to observe (Parameters)
