Capacity Building Workshop for Early Career Researchers on Issues and Challenges of Urban Sector in India

The National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), New Delhi in partnership with University of Glasgow, UK and Centre for Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi is organising a one week capacity building programme on “Issues and Challenges of Urban Sector in India” for early career researchers during May 6-11, 2019 in New Delhi. The programme is fully funded by Sustainable, Healthy and Learning Cities and Neighbourhood project (an international consortium of nine research partners) coordinated by the University of Glasgow.  The programme aims to help young researchers to gain knowledge about the urban sector and ways to address its growing multidimensional challenges. The programme also aims to strengthen the capacity of researchers to undertake evidence based urban research; use data analytics and research to influence urban planning, policy and practice and promote project proposal formulation and management skills.
