CITIIS (City Investments To Innovate, Integrate and Sustain) program is the main component of the ‘Program to fund Smart City projects through a Challenge Process’ launched by the (MoHUA) in July 2018. The program is managed by the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) and financed by the French Development Agency (AFD) and the European Union(EU) through a €100 million loan and €6 million grant respectively.
As part of the program, following 12 projects have been selected and they shall receive financial and technical assistance over the next three years:
