WASTE IndiaWASTE is an experienced organisation established in 1984 in the Netherlands, specialising in sanitation and solid waste management in low- and middle-income countries, often in the context of development co-operation. Our vision is to create cleaner and better-functioning cities with improved sanitation and solid waste management which contribute to alleviation of poverty and strive to find a balance between financial, institutional, environmental, technological, and social aspects of sustainability.We are specialists in programme design and management,system design from collection to waste valorisation, enterprise development, innovative financing, and capacity development. Our portfolio of multi-year and multi-programmes is carried out by WASTE’s international and multi-disciplinary staff. In addition, WASTE has a global network of highly qualified and experienced local experts in sanitation and solid waste management whom we cooperate with. WASTE Indiais a daughter organisation of WASTE Netherlands that has been established to directly address local challenges in sanitation and solid waste management with WASTE’s global experience and comprehensive expertise.
