The focus would be on cleaning river Ganga and promoting industries and commerce. The city would want to be; sampan by making itself a regional growth centre, sachal by ensuring smooth travel through better connectivity, shakriya by enhances technology support and swasth by ensuring good air, water quality. In addition it wants to achieve greater financial sustainability by operationalising GIS based property tax management etc.
