Prakash Iyer is an urban infrastructure finance professional with 18 years experience spanning infrastructure consulting across sectors such as Smart Cities, affordable housing, water supply, sewerage, drainage, solid waste management, recreation, energy, sports, large area developments and urban transport. He has helped facilitate numerous projects through PPP and also helped mobilize capital for infrastructure and industrial projects. He has recently advised the Government of Madhya Pradesh in the development of Smart Cities. His support included preparation of an As-Is Report for Indore Smart City, leading the stage 1 challenge on the evaluation of Smart City candidates at the state level and providing hand-holding support for the development of Smart City proposals for seven cities in Madhya Pradesh. Three of these cities namely Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur were selected in the first list of twenty smart cities announced by the Government of India.
