City’s Vision

Rajkot aims to incorporate data driven planning and participatory approach in creating neighbourhoods that are responsive to early childhood development by developing accessible services, safe and pedestrian friendly streets and improving public facilities.

About the Neighbourhood

The Neighbourhood is located at the central part of the city, spanning across multiple wards. It consists of ​various early childhood amenities and services, public open spaces and public institutions​ which are frequented by young children and caregivers on a daily basis. The neighbourhood also houses vulnerable population, needing immediate attention to design and plan more inclusive and responsive environment.
