Mr. Rahul Kapoor, Director, Smart Cities Mission, delivered the introductory note and congratulated the cities on their actions under the Streets for People Challenge. The city representatives from Vijayawada, Karnal, and Nagpur shared their learning on identifying pilot locations and building momentum for Streets for People initiatives. The technical presentation by ITDP India Programme highlighted the action points for conducting the walking audit and the evaluation process for the city-led design competition.
