Institutionalising Citizen's Participation in Urban Governance

This prolicy brief empahsises the need in ensuirng citizen's particitaion. By analysing case studies from different countries, it has been observed that though spaces and opportunities for citizen participation in urban areas have been created through rules, policies and constitutional provisions, often they are not implemented in letter and spirit and there is a huge gap in their execution.
