National Workshop on Urban Transformation was held in New Delhi to commemorate two years of launch of Smart Cities Mission. On the occassion 30 new cities selected for the Mission were announced. The event also marked the launch of Smart City Awards, to encourage competitive federalism. Ministry of Urban Development also launched Livebility Standards in Cities. There was launch of Hriday Mobile App for Ajmer, PMAY(u) Pass Book and TPQM Reference Guide.
Compilation of Best Practices, in PMAY (U) and Smart Cities Mission prepared by MOUD were released, and the leading cities recived awards and presented during the event.
